Chevy Silverado - Ready for the Road

Ready for the Road

That is how I feel every morning when I wake up to go to work. An hour drive on curvy country roads to start hauling parts from one plant to another. I must make 8 drops a day up to 1200 pounds each.

The bed of my Silverado has endured a beating as the fork lift truck driver puts the skids in, ties them down, and then to the other plant where they are lifted out. This Silverado has earned every penny with the commitment for endurance that Chevy built into it. This truck is dependable, durable, and versatile. I could not ask for a better ride since I am on the road all day long.

And by the way, the drive home after a long day at work is quite enjoyable. I crank up my stereo and relax because the Chevy Silverado is designed with a comprehensive list of safety and security features to give me that peace of mind.

Another day, Another night, Goodnight Folks, and I will be

Ready for the Road again in the morning!

You will be Glad you did!

CORVETTE

1953

Seems like forever ago! The first Corvette came off the production line on June 30th, 1953.
I would say that is the birthday of the Corvette.
What an awesome vehicle!
The Chevrolet Bel Air Wheel Covers were supplied on the first 25 cars built.
The first Corvettes were Polo White with a Red Interior and a Black Canvas Top.
My favorite part of this history was that there were only two options on the Corvette.
1) AM Radio
2) Heater

Can you believe it?

Oh, yes, I almost forgot the most important part:
The Base Price was $3,498.00
